Terms & Conditions
Hey Diamond dancers! We can't wait to have you join us in studio. Upon enrolment first please read, fully understand, accept and agree to our terms of engagement as set out below.
ENROLMENTS
Class numbers are capped to ensure students progression as well as health and safety measures.
Classes commence on the first week of each school term and run for a minimum of 8 - 10 weeks.
Classes that fall on event dates such as show rehearsals, competitions, exams will not be refunded.
Students are automatically re-enrolled each term and written notice is required by week 2 of the relevant term if a student wishes to withdraw.
If a student does not provide written notice of withdrawal by week 2 of term, full tuition fees apply.
Students must enrol online prior to attending any classes.
FEES
Fees are due at the commencement of each term.
Students who enrol mid term will be charged pro rata.
Fees are non refundable to students who change their mind or discontinue.

Payment methods: include Stripe and Internet banking.
ADDITIONAL FEES
Examination fees – payable on Term Two invoice.
Show Levy – split across T2 and T3 invoices for ease of payment to cover show costume fees
Dance Uniform - compulsory. Please see uniform tab.
Troupe costume fees, competition registration fees are additional.(Troupe dancers and soloists)
Registration Fee – a one-off $20 registration/admin fee applies to all new families when they join Diamond Studios
UNIFORMS
Diamond Studios prides itself on high quality standards and presentation in all classes.
Uniforms are compulsory for all students across all exam classes and competitive events.

All uniform can be ordered through dancers DSP parent portal.
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
All public holidays are observed and accounted for in our fee structure.
COVID, ILLNESS AND ISOLATION POLICY
If any classes are cancelled due to Covid, lessons will be credited to students accounts.
Any student absences relating to Covid are treated as illness. No refunds or credits apply for absence due to illness (including Covid) or for Ministry of Health requirements to isolate.
MEMBERSHIPS
Our memberships have been carefully designed for multiclass students and align with our aim of providing all diamond dancers with the opportunity to 'find their shine'.
Memberships may not be shared between dancers. Each must hold their own membership.
Private lessons missed will not roll over or accumulate.
Troupe classes are via audition acceptance only.
In order for a student to hold an Emerald or Diamond membership, they must be enrolled and attend a minimum of 2 classes per week. These 2 classes do not include troupes, private lessons or academy training and must be in addition to these classes.
Limited Diamond memberships available.
COMPETITIVE
Soloists who train at Diamond Studios in competitive dance represent Diamond Studios at competitive events.
All competition work conceptualised and choreographed by a Diamond tutor, remains the intellectual property of Diamond Studios NZ.
CONDUCT
At Diamond we encourage students and families to form close knit friendships in a nurturing and encouraging environment.
We expect diamond families to remain respectful to staff and one another at all times. Any offensive or intimidating behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate dismissal from Diamond Studios.
